[Breaking News] Huang Shan to release his second cosplay album
Huang Shan [黄山], the king of cosplay from the PRC, is to release his second album of cosplay entitled “溯时” soon.

On the right is his work dated 2007, in which he appears as "Louis XXXIII" (路易三十三) in a series of photos entitled "幻帝 路易三十三". It would seem best to let his photos speak for themselves. Below are a few of them:

In addition to Huang Shan, I have also discovered another cosplayer from Beijing lately. His name is Gana and his blog can be found at: http://i.yoho.cn/gana/index. His latest work is based on Yuki Kaori’s manga series Ludwig Revolution.
The artistic scene in the PRC at the moment is such a lively one – it is rushing forward with a truckload of energy and imagination. There is always more stuff going on than I can keep up with. If there is anything of special interest that you noticed, please do not hesitate to drop me a note any time.
This is exciting! I’ve been following his work on deviantART. I discovered him through his Pet Shop of Horrors cosplay.
nijibug:
I see, so his fame has spread to deviantART.
I am not so much into cosplay, but these costumes are very beautiful to look at, and I know some girls that would die for just a glance at this.
Ridiculus:
I think guys who live on that aesthetic wavelength would be pleased to see that too.
oo i think i’ve seen him before a while ago!! his cosplays are gorgeous!! the photos are amazing, very elegant!! thanks for posting !

That is correct, but in my proximity women are those in the majority when it comes to costume-making and cosplaying. Well, I will spread the good word.
susperia:
You are welcome.
Ridiculus:
I guess I am the exact opposite. The only cosplayer I personally know is bangin (bangin.wordpress.com/). And the really pro cosplayers I notice are Huang Shan and Gana. They are all guys.
Such devotion and beauty…it’s amazing what a good cosplayer can do.
